The EIB170RFAU is a RadioLINK Alarm system designed to give warning to the deaf and hard of hearing on receipt of an alarm or test signal. It consists of a control box with integral strobe and a plug-in vibration pad. The EIB170RFAU is designed to be powered from a permanent mains power supply. It also contains a rechargeable battery that provides back-up power in the event of mains failure. It has a built-in high intensity Xenon strobe with a specially designed lens that provides wide-angle light output. An integral ‘Test’ button on the front of the unit, allows an easy means of testing the strobe, vibration pad and the RadioLINK Bases/Alarms in the system. The EIB171RFAU consists of a strobe unit, and runs on 230V AC Mains power with a built in long-life sealed lead-acid rechargeable battery. It is designed for daytime rooms as a visual indicator. If a bedroom is to be covered then the use of an EIB170RFAU alarm should be used which includes a vibrating pillow pad.

The EIB3016 alarm features a high peformance photoelectric smoke sensor, ideal for detecting smoke from slow, smouldering fires. In addition, the chamber design, integrated insect screen and unique dust compensation algorithm reduce the risk of false alarms. The EIB3016 is powered by 230V AC mains. In the event of mains failure, the rechargeable 10-year built-in non-removable lithium battery will provide up to 3 months power supply in the case of a wireless RF installation or up to 6 months in any other case. The AudioLINK feature facilitates acoustic download of the alarm parameters and status using the AudioLINK app. The EIB3016 can operate as a standalone alarm or can be interconected either by hard-wire or wirelessly (using the EIB3000MRF module) enabling it to communicate with compatible Brooks alarms and accessories. The EIB650iRF photoelectric smoke alarm is fitted with a proprietary photoelectric sensor to quickly sense low energy smoke particles. The EIB650iRF is a EIB650iW fitted with EIB600MRF. This photoelectric alarm is sensitive to all domestic fire types but is especially sensitive to smouldering fires. The EIB650i range features a high performance photoelectric chamber protected by a sealed mesh screen to reduce insect and dust contamination and EMC protection to reduce false alarms. In addition the EIB650iRF has an automatic dust compensation feature reducing further the risk of false alarms caused by dust build up. The EIB3000MRF is an optional add-on SmartLINK module for the EIB3000 series alarms. It enables the alarm to communicate wirelessly with other Brooks RF devices. Up to 12 devices can be interconnected2. It also facilitates a hybrid communication of hardwired and wireless connections. The module simply plugs into the designated slot in the base of the alarm head. On powering up the alarm, the RF LED on the side of the alarm will flash red, blue and green to indicate that the module has been fitted correctly. The EIB3000MRF module is a short range device using a transceiver to transmit, receive and repeat the RadioLINK RF protocol. This ensures a robust “mesh” of RF signals and reliable paths of communication. The EIB174 is an additional vibrating pillow pad designed for use with alarms for the Hearing Impaired. It comes with 5m of cable and plugs into an alarm kit (EIB170RFAU) using the socket plug supplied. It provides additional warning where more than one vibrating pillow pad is needed. Plugs into the additional socket provided on the strobe unit for the Hearing Impaired. If an alarm on the system activates, the vibrating pillow pad will activate, awakening the occupant.
