Medical grade sheepskin is one that complies with the recognised Australian Standard. Refer to Australian and international guidelines when assessing entitled persons for the prevention and management of pressure injury. Only consider using a medical grade sheepskin as an adjunct or when a low pressure or pressure support surface is not tolerated.
